    Best care for hangover

    Being a nutritionist I would never recommend alcohol consumption. It is a straight fact that alcohol and our body does not make good friends. But we all know that alcohol helps in providing immense pleasure and aid relaxation only if you drink in apt amounts.

    If you drink alcoholic make sure you take good care of your body and  we are going to help you in  some hangover  kicking hacks.

    1. Eat well before and after
    Enjoy your proteins and fats before consuming alcohols, eggs, avocados and spinach are fabulous breakfast options. People have a misconception that it is good to grease your hangover up with burger and fries, but no no guys I would give a red flag to it.
    1. Hydrate
    One of the main causes of alcohol are dehydration, so make sure you drink one glass of water after each drink to make sure your body remains dehydrated. I would also suggest that you should drink 2-4 ltrs of water the next day also to maintain the hydration level of body. One of the best drinks for hangover is coconut water it is rich in electrolytes which helps in replenishing the water level of body. You can also drink water with a pinch of sea salt and lemon juice to alkalise and also green juices which are rich in minerals and electrolytes.
    1. Eat before you drink
    Always make sure your stomach is full of food before you plan to drink alcohol which will helps in absorbing the alcohols at slower pace. This is the best time to enjoy meals of carbohydrates like quinoa, sweet potato and brown rice. I personally love having brown rice sushi at this time. I would strictly advice avoiding caffeine at such situations as it can be very heavy for your liver to take so much.
    1. Go for swimming
    At times of hangover I would suggest to go for a swim as it can work magic for the alcohol effect and a swim in the ocean would be considered much more beneficial.

    1. Sweat it right out
    Enjoy a quick  and hard workout to kick the hangover. Exercises help in stimulating the lymphatic system of the body which excretes toxin and great blood flow.Endorphins are the feel good  hormones they are also excreted while exercises. Yoga is also a great option to kick hangover.
    1. Take care of your liver
    If you are a person who loves alcohol and consumes it very frequently you should keep in mind that alcohol damages livera lot so to make your liver live long. Vegetables of brassica family like cabbage, cauliflower, kale, Brussels, sprouts and broccoli have liver detox enzymes so you should consider these in your meals on regular basis. I would suggest even you should prefer dandelion root tea for the liver betterment as a supplement form. Apple cider vinegar and lemon water aregood as detox ( 1tbsp in water with 1tsp turmeric works well as detox). Have grated carrots with lemon juice,sea salt and enjoy it with a green juice.

    Opt for the clear alcoholic types like Gin, vodka. These are best without the sugary flavourings. Enjoy these alcohols with lemon juice and sparkling water. The sugary mixers or flavouring make the alcohol more worse for the liver.

    Alcohol can be very destructive for the liver and the body at the same time. So make sure you take care of your body as prevention would be really more better and cheap then the cure.
